Transparent process

How it works

A simple, repeatable and defensible process. Designed to provide clarity, speed and verifiability without turning it into a heavy audit.

When required, the certificate can be reinforced through eIDAS-aligned timestamping issued by accredited external trust service providers.

1

AI usage declaration

You declare where AI is used, for which operational purpose, what outputs it generates, and its role in the process (assisted, automated, recommendation, support, etc.).

Goal: turn a generic claim into a verifiable disclosure.
2

Scope and exclusions definition

We define in writing what the certificate covers and what is explicitly excluded. This avoids ambiguity and misinterpretation.

Example: “Support and documentation: yes; automated final decisions: no.”
3

Proportional minimum evidence

We request sufficient minimum evidence: internal documentation, links, excerpts, configurations, examples or logs. Evidence requirements are proportional to risk and context.

We do not ask for a full audit. We ask for what is necessary to verify.
4

Human accountability identification

A human accountable owner (role or position) is identified, assuming final responsibility for the certified AI usage.

AI does not answer to third parties. Organizations do.
5

Verifiable issuance (ID + hash)

We issue the certificate with a public verification ID and an integrity hash that allows anyone to verify the document has not been altered since issuance.

Result: a simple, public and defensible proof for third parties.

What you get

  • Certificate with clear scope and exclusions
  • Named human accountable owner
  • References to submitted minimum evidence
  • Public ID + integrity hash

How long it takes

Timing depends on the case and evidence availability. The objective is to be fast without losing defensibility.

In simple scenarios, it can be completed in a few days. If there is urgency, let us know and we will assess real feasibility.
VERIOK-AI verifies declared facts and proportional minimum evidence about AI usage. It does not assess full legal compliance nor guarantee future outcomes. This boundary is intentional and protects the certificate’s value.

Send us your case and we’ll tell you if it fits.

We will reply with the proposed scope and required minimum evidence.
